Ben is an evangelical innovator and problem solver. He started his career in sales and advertising but moved onto managing software development and innovation companies from the mid 1990s. He worked with a wide range of clients from Fortune 500’s corporations, to government projects and start-ups. Before setting up Adtones he specialised in telecommunications systems working with clients like Vodafone, BT, Cable & Wireless Sprint and Verizon. Ben read Chemistry at Imperial College and Université de Paris XI.

Gaspare Manos has extensive knowledge of the advertising and media market. He had managed teams in advertising, sales, and content for online and printed magazines. Gaspare has strong business development experience across the EU, Africa and Asia with high-level networks in sectors relevant to Adtones’ expansion and implementation strategy. Gaspare was educated at the London School of Economics (LSE) where he holds a PhD from the Faculty of Economics.

Anita is a cross-border business strategist. She has 20 years of experience in building and executing business strategies with projects in Asia, U.K. and Europe, and the United States. In her prior experience, she traded, for some 15 years, financial and commodity futures and had worked the entire spectrum of the debt market. Anita holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a BBA Summa Cum Laude in economics from Loyola University in Chicago. She is a Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science.

Since 2010, Rajesh Varma has been the international equity portfolio manager at DNCA Paris (€25bn under management). Previously Rajesh worked for Carmignac Gestion from 2002 where he managed global funds focusing on new technologies, healthcare and renewable energies, participating in Asian stock-picking for the whole range of funds. He worked for Eurazeo for two years from 2000. Rajesh has also worked as a fund manager for Montgomery AM in San Francisco, KI Pacific AM, Arral Associates (the first Asian hedge fund). He began his career at Fidelity in Hong Kong as an analyst covering Asian markets. Rajesh is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BSC 1986 and MBA 1988).

Sanjay is an active angel investor and advisor. He started his career with McKinsey & Company in India and served as a VP of Business Development of Alibaba and was the # 3 member of Alibaba’s core team. Sanjay is the Founder and Chairman of JMATEK International, in 2013, Enterprise Asia awarded the Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award to Sanjay for his leadership in building JMATEK into a global leader in home comfort appliances. He also co-founded Kalido the world’s first peer to peer opportunity based platform. Sanjay studied at the University of Michigan and holds an MBA from Columbia University, New York.

Rupert is an investment banker specialising in emerging market equities. He has worked for NatWest Markets, CA-IB/Bank Austria, ING, and Wood & Co, in a range of senior management and sales roles. His experience spans a number of territories including the Gulf, Russia, CIS, Central Asia, Latin America and South Africa as well as EMEA, with over 100 IPOs, follow on placements and capital raisings completed. He holds degrees from the University of Oxford and the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), now a part of UCL.

Larry Davis is an architect and real estate developer from Houston, Texas and has had his work published in over 80 publications. Larry is the founder and president of Urban Lofts Townhomes (www.urbanlofts.com). Based in Houston, the firm also has developments in Dallas, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. Since the firm’s inception, Larry has been responsible for over $500,000,000 of sales. Larry serves on the board of Save Venice which annually gives approximately €2,000,000 for restoration projects in the city.

Aude Mercier has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2007. Aude is a partner of 186 Avocats law firm in Paris since 2016. She is specialised in all intellectual property, media and new technologies areas notably trademarks, copyright, design and Internet issues, both contentious and non-contentious. Aude works on personal data protection law. She also focuses her practice on unfair competition cases. Aude assists a broad range of clients – including both SMEs and large French and international groups – with all their requirements relating to IP/IT law. Her expertise covers the fields of media, and audio visual.

Sarah has several special interest in law which have been broadened with research activity, conferences and teaching. These include legal informatics, IT, new technologies, copyright, industrial and commercial law. Sarah has been enrolled on the Professional Register of lawyers since 2003. She has continuously worked as a lawyer and as a partner in several associated law firms until she set up her own law firm Mosole Avvocati winning landmark court cases in several fields of law. She hold a law degree from the University of Bologna along with a PhD in Information Technology Law.

Evans is a program and project manager. He has worked for Radio Africa and Lancia Digital (Bamba TV), coordinating development and integration of advertising systems with ABV international (china), DVEO (US) and Sumavision technologies (China). He also coordinated integration of digital TV channels with Standard group media group (Kenya), Africa XP (South Africa). He has been trained by Sumavison technologies (China) on DTT transmission and integration. Evans holds a degree in applied mathematics.
